We are searching for a talented Volunteer Assistant-VNA

Hours: 24hrs

Shift: Day shift

Location: Visiting Nurse Association - Fairhaven, MA

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Manager, Bereavement & Volunteer Services or designee, perform diversified duties in support of volunteer services for the Hospice Program, including but not limited to volunteer assessments and assignments, coordination of Camp Angel Wings, creation and maintenance of volunteer data reports and participation in the Volunteer Military recognition event.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in a related field or the equivalent knowledge and experience are required.
  • Over three months of related experience, up to and including one year, is required.
  • Minimum of one to three years of experience in volunteer administration is preferred.
  • Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills as well as proficiency in computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

USD $17.49 - USD $29.41 /Hr.
