We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative oil and gas Contract Administration Professional to provide moderately complex contract analysis and support reporting for Marketing and Midstream activities within the oil and gas industry. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining contracts that are critical to the exploration, production, transportation, and marketing of oil and natural gas. The Contract Administration Professional ensures the accuracy and compliance of oil and gas agreements, leveraging automation tools and data analysis techniques to drive efficiency and continuous improvement. This position works closely with Commercial, Legal, Accounting, and Operations teams, as well as external customers and counterparties, to support the company's oil and gas business objectives. Responsibilities:
  • Process, review, and distribute contracts, amendments, and correspondence for various types of marketing and midstream agreements
  • Draft agreements by applying established terms and conditions as negotiated by Commercial and Legal teams
  • Prepare and send confirmations to external counterparties and collaborate with traders to address discrepancies
  • Review drill schedules and prepare well connection notices
  • Ensure contracts are properly authorized and that all terms and conditions are accurately captured in the database
  • Maintain contract files within the designated contract repository
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to increase efficiencies within the group
  • Provide ad-hoc support for Commercial, Legal, Accounting, Management, and other departmental functions as needed
  • Review opportunities for contract consolidation
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders on the transfer and assignment of contracts
Education:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems, or a related business field. Experience:Minimum of 3 years of related industry experience in Contract Administration, specifically with oil and gas contracts; oil and gas industry experience strongly preferred. Competencies:

  • In-depth knowledge of oil and gas contract terms, administrative procedures, industry terminology, and regulatory standards

  • Experience with automation tools or process automation to drive efficiency in oil and gas contract workflows
  • Proficiency in data analysis, including the use of Excel or other analytical tools, to support oil and gas business decisions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex oil and gas contract terms to diverse audiences
  • Self-motivated, flexible, multi-task oriented, and able to work independently
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating with oil and gas professionals across departments
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
