Part Time I First Shift

Cardiac Rehab I Lexington, Ky

Our Stress Lab department is dedicated to providing cardiac stress testing using a patient-centered approach. Our team of credentialed registered nurses as well as other healthcare professionals help to provide patients with quality care to assist physicians in diagnosing, managing and treating cardiovascular conditions.

Description:

• Assessment of patients' needs.
• Development of patient care plans.
• Provision of direct care.
• Management of patient care delivery.
• Demonstrate leadership skills.
• Support for quality care.
• Customer relations and a healing environment.
• On call requirement weekends/holidays picked by rotation.
• Operating Room Nurses provide care and support to patients before, during and after surgery.
• Clinical decision-making incorporates all four phases of the nursing process, critical thinking and creativity.

Qualifications:

• Current RN licensure and work permit in Kentucky.
• Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing and less than 10 years of experience must enroll within 12 months of hire in a bachelor's degree program and must have achieved the degree within 5 years.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
• BCLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months for experienced nurses and 1 year for new graduates.
