We are seeking an experienced Rework Station SMT Operator to join our team. In this role, you will perform rework, wire bonding, and delicate assembly operations while ensuring top-quality products are delivered on time and in a cost-efficient, safe manner. You'll also support manufacturing, assembly, and basic testing, applying your specialized knowledge of production processes to maintain the highest standards of quality and precision.

Schedule: 6:00am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday

Pay: $19/hr.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Assemble products by following specifications, documentation, and process instructions.
  • Perform rework and repairs independently, including replacement of surface mount and through-hole components.
  • Carry out advanced and complex assembly tasks such as solder balls attachment, flip chips, BGA, sockets, wiring, sanding, epoxy bonding, and more.
  • Install and inspect electronic components on boards, ensuring accuracy in polarity, value, and positioning per IPC610 standards.
  • Conduct quality checks, identify damaged components, and ensure solder joint integrity.
  • Operate tools and equipment for rework, soldering, and de-soldering.
  • Assist with training, support other production cells, and help the team meet overall production goals.
  • Maintain daily production output while ensuring compliance with company processes, procedures, and customer specifications.




Qualifications:



  • Must have 2 years of SMT operator experience.
  • Associate or Technical degree, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electronic manufacturing required.
  • Strong background in soldering, assembly, and repair of SMT, through-hole, and cable assemblies.
  • Knowledge of ISO, AS, QS/TS, and Six Sigma preferred.
  • Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, and schedule instructions.
  • Excellent communication skills and a detail-oriented, quality-driven work ethic.
  • Must pass Visual Acuity and Color Blindness testing per company policy.
  • In-depth understanding of component identification, marking, and use of production tools/machinery.
