Warehouse Forklift Operator

Pay & Shifts:

• 1st Shift: $17.50/hr | Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: $18.50/hr | Monday - Friday | 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

The Forklift Operator I is responsible for operating material handling equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role requires safe and efficient operation of sit-down and/or clamp forklifts and may include order filler or order checker duties.

Essential Duties:

• Stack and store merchandise using forklifts, clamp, or push-pull equipment
• Unload inbound shipments and move product to storage locations
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring accuracy
• Perform picking duties to meet customer service standards
• Move product from staging/storage areas into trailers
• Maintain records and reports for inventory control
• Assist in physical inventories, cycle counts, and stock rotation
• Use RF scanning equipment and Excel to ensure inventory accuracy
• Follow safety procedures and report concerns promptly

Mandatory Skills & Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• At least 3 months forklift experience or experience with warehouse distribution equipment
• Ability to stand/walk for 10-12 hours and lift/pull 50 lbs regularly
• Regular bending, stretching, reaching, and walking throughout the facility
• Comfortable working in variable noise, lighting, and temperature conditions
• Willingness to work irregular or extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to obtain NFI forklift certification
• Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and excellent customer service
