What you'll do:

The Preferred and Small Business Banking Training Specialist will deliver engaging, end-to-end learning experiences designed to build foundational knowledge, skills, and confidence among entry-level and early-career employees. In this role, the Preferred and Small Business Banking Training Specialist will facilitate both classroom and virtual training sessions, applying adult learning principles to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. They will focus on helping participants connect course content to real-world performance, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and practical application on the job. The Preferred and Small Business Banking Training Specialist is responsible for establishing strong learner engagement, managing session flow, and supporting program objectives through consistent delivery practices. While primarily focused on facilitation, they will also provide feedback to content development teams and contribute to continuous improvement efforts by observing learner needs and sharing insights with peers and training leadership.
  • Facilitate new hire and foundational training programs from start to finish, in both classroom and virtual formats.
  • Organize session logistics, including rosters, training materials, technology, and communications.
  • Build rapport with learners to encourage active participation and retention of knowledge.
  • Collect feedback from participants and summarize data for program improvements.
  • Support needs assessments by gathering learner data and observations.
  • Document training outcomes and report on learner progress to managers.
  • Strengthen facilitation skills through practice, feedback, and collaboration with peers and leaders.

What you'll need:

  • 1+ years of related experience in learning and talent development, public speaking, presentation skills, or similar or similar field.
  • High school diploma required.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience in financial services preferred.
  • Entry level to intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Entry level to intermediate knowledge and experience with facilitation techniques.
  • Entry level to intermediate detail orientation and organizational skills.
  • Entry level to intermediate analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Entry level to intermediate experience with managing and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Entry level to intermediate public speaking experience preferred.
  • Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $26.40 - $32.61 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
