This is where the Americas Tech Sales Leader plays a pivotal role. As the Americas Tech Sales Leader you will be expected to drive rigor in the people agenda, curate a high-performance culture, and enhance "Tech intensity" by fostering a continuous learning environment and promoting innovation within your organization. You will be a transformative leader, responsible for driving our partners' success. Leading an organization of Partner solution Architects and Partner Success Managers, you will provide strategic guidance and valuable insights on how our partners can efficiently evolve their business solution portfolio using Microsoft technologies and diverse solution areas. You will model, coach, and care for your team, fostering a high-performance culture of excellence. Your deep technical expertise across solutions and partner eco system will establish your credibility, while your ability to create and lead a top-tier team through robust hiring practices, talent retention strategies, coaching, and mentoring will drive performance excellence. The ideal candidate brings extensive technical and business experience across Microsoft's stack, demonstrating mastery of Microsoft solution areas. In addition to this expertise, the role requires a deep understanding of the channel partner ecosystem, enabling strategic collaboration and alignment with top CSP partners. This combination of skills ensures the ability to drive impactful business outcomes, accelerate secure cloud adoption, and foster trusted partnerships that advance Microsoft's vision and the success of its partners.
ResponsibilitiesYou will Model, coach, and care for your team, fostering a high-performance culture focused on excellence and drive execution of technology strategy and digital transformation by your team, guiding technical roadmaps for strategic accounts as you will establish and communicate performance expectations and lead the team to accept changes and retain performance levels while responding to changing demands as you demonstrate inclusiveness, inspire a growth mindset, and lead by example. You will build a talented and diverse team through effective hiring practices. Foster talent retention by providing coaching, mentoring, and professional development opportunities. Create a culture of continuous learning and career growth, ensuring fairness, compliance, and alignment with company mission and values. You will be the trusted advisor and technical SME (Subject Matter Expert) of the partners Technical Decision Makers (TDMs) including senior leaders as you drive the execution of the company's priorities by developing and executing clear strategy for your team, enabling them to drive partners success, remove technical blockers for technology adoption, and champion ways to innovate and improve productivity of your team and foster collaborative relationships with partners, ensuring alignment of partnership objectives and effective utilization of Microsoft solutions. You will leverage your deep technical expertise in IP solutions and Services development, gaining credibility and providing valuable insights to partners as you stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, driving innovation in partner business solutions and consult and provide clarity on partners' strategic alignment with Microsoft's technology priorities and their readiness to address solution gaps.
