Job Objective: Maintain and update Oracle inventory on a regular basis to ensure inventory accuracy at all times. Essential Job Functions:
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Promotes a culture of safety within the organization by leading by example and encouraging others to prioritize safety.
- Promptly reports any safety incidents or near-misses to the appropriate personnel and contributes to the investigation process.
- Active participation in safety-related programs and initiatives is required as necessary. This includes involvement in the safety committee on a rotating schedule, as well as participation in Risk Assessments, Exposure Hunts, department inspections, and change management activities.
- Inventory Control
- Monitory and evaluate transactions to ensure inventory accuracy and identify material losses/gains, correcting transactions in Oracle as needed.
- Initiate, post, and reconcile cycle counts and location audits.
- Research discrepancy root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent future problems.
- Verify on-hand inventory of Knit and Wovens semifinished goods, performing weekly physicals. Investigate discrepancies and record adjustments in Oracle as required.
- Working with Distribution and Customer Service, verify on-hand inventory related to customer complaints.
- Monitor Oracle interfaces and pending transactions to correct problems and transactions that impact inventory.
- Prepare reports of monthly cycle counts and location audit results.
- Support other Inventory Control functions as required.
- Personal Care Material
- Verify production receipts of specified Personal Care material, performing daily physicals as needed. Investigate discrepancies and record adjustments in Oracle when required.
- Report daily Personal Care production numbers/discrepancies to Planning, updating production reports.
- Maintain daily Personal Care inventory spreadsheet, recording each inventory receipt and issue by lot number.
- Verify on-hand inventory of semifinished goods, performing weekly physicals. Investigate discrepancies and record adjustments in Oracle as required.
- Support monthly physical of specified Personal Care material.
Automotive Material
- Verify on-hand inventory of specified Automotive material, performing daily to weekly physical counts as needed. Investigate discrepancies and record adjustments in Oracle as required.
- Working with Manufacturing and Planning, perform weekly scrap adjustments in Oracle on specified Automotive material.
- General
- Perform projects, analyses, and data extractions as assigned.
- Train new associates in essential job functions.
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Excellent attendance required.
- Full time presence required.
- Ability to work overtime as required or requested, including extended shifts and weekends.
Job Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree, 2-4 years related experience and/or training in an inventory control/warehousing environment, or equivalent combination of education & experience.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and MS Excel.
- Has ability to work and think independently and able to prioritize job requirements.
- Must be detail oriented and pay close attention to accuracy.
- Must have solid math skills.
- Must have strong communication skills.
- Experience operating an Order Picker and/or Sit Down Forklift preferred.
