General Production Worker

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
* Continuously drive the facility's culture toward a Safety conscious environment. Challenge status quo Safety behaviors, engage in Safety initiatives and attend all Safety related training.
* Drive for and ensure work product remain in or exceed the standards and specifications established by Quality Assurance and Compliance.
* Initiate and drive continuous improvement within the department, operations, and other areas of the facility as part of the team to ensure plant sustainability.
* Engage and support a team environment within the department and across the facility.
* Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safety policies and other policies as outlined by the Company.
* Production Operator will ensure proper specification on product
* Track downtime downstream of filler and other applicable downtime equipment with the area,
* Perform required weight and code checks at correct intervals.
* Clean machine regularly during production, maintain floor cleanliness and complete all required Master Sanitation Schedule items daily,
* Pass on information to incoming shift
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor

- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent

- Previous manufacturing experience, preferred

- Must be able to read, write and speak English
