About the Role:
The SNAP Employment and Training (E&T) program empowers individuals to build employment skills and improve their economic self-sufficiency. As a Business Engagement Specialist, you will play a key role in guiding participants toward meaningful employment while building strong relationships with businesses and community partners across Wyoming.

Responsibilities:



  • Provide case management support to SNAP E&T participants
  • Develop individualized employment plans and coach participants through challenges
  • Assist with resume writing, cover letter development, interview preparation, and job skills training
  • Build and maintain relationships with local employers, nonprofits, and ESGW staff
  • Document participant progress and support job retention and career advancement
  • Promote sustainable employment and self-reliance among participants


Qualifications:



  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Degree in social services or related field preferred
  • 0-2 years of experience in job development or employment placement
  • Strong oral, written, organizational, and record-keeping skills
  • Experience working with diverse populations
  • Proven interviewing, counseling, and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with community resources and local employers


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the community
  • Mentally and physically able to perform all job duties
