The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is looking for a Contracting Principal SME to provide research support administration services for our government customer in Fort Belvoir, VA.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide expertise or guidance in subject matter area of specialized knowledge, as called out in a task order or statement of work.

  • Subject areas include but are not be limited to Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance systems (C4ISR), Information Operations (IO), Computer Network Operations (CNO), Electronic Warfare (EW), visual augmentation systems (weapon scopes and sights, lasers, night vision goggles, and thermal imaging systems), tactical vehicles, ammunition, ballistics, personnel and vehicle armor systems, computer networks, GPS, cellular telephone networks, Cyber Security operations including offensive and defensive techniques, Counter Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS), and Directed Energy.

  • The contractor will also have knowledge in areas supported by the specified subject area to support product selection, architecture, system design, engineering, intelligence systems, security and other technical, operational, and analytical disciplines to include reliability, maintainability and life cycle cost management.

  • Provides direction to technical personnel to ensure adherence to functional design specifications and program requirements.

  • Coordinates with the Project Manager and/or Quality Assurance Manager to ensure adequate design specifications and associated documentation and problem resolution for problem reports.

  • Provides legal review/contract award support to Natick contracting in support of the APM for Next Generation Information & Awareness.

  • Provide Expert knowledge of Other Transaction Agreements (OTA) during reviews.

  • Provide input to the Contracting Office with work products that are accurate and free of any errors for Government Contracting Officer approval.

  • At all times, contractor employees shall readily and clearly identify themselves in written and oral communications as a contractor employee to dispel the perception that they are acting in the capacity or with the authority of the Government official.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Must have a Bachelors degree.

  • Masters degree preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must have at least 16 years of experience.

  • Must have expert knowledge of Other Transaction Agreements (OTA)

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (Born or Naturalized)

  • Must have Active TS/SCI Clearance
