Summary:

The Staff Dentist is a licensed dental professional responsible for delivering comprehensive, high-quality oral health care services to patients, with a particular focus on individuals from underserved, uninsured, or vulnerable populations. This role involves the direct provision of diagnostic, preventive, and restorative dental services, as well as patient education and engagement in oral health promotion activities.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

1. Education: Degree from an accredited School of Dentistry and an unrestricted license to practice dentistry in the State of Maine.

2. License/Certifications: Will have up to date training and certification in Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support.

3. Experience: N/A

4. Able to perform all aspects of basic dentistry services and to work as a team member.

5. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to public health dentistry.
