Description City Clerk Temporary Worker* 20 Hrs Part Time - 2 vacancies DEPARTMENT: CITY CLERK'S OFFICE, CITY HALL, CONCORD, NH TYPICAL WORK SHIFT/SCHEDULE: DAYS, NIGHTS, SOME WEEKENDS STARTING WAGE: $19.00 APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Open until filled with immediate need to fill! JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the City Clerk and Deputy City Clerk, assists in the preparation and coordination of election activities for the City of Concord. Hours include nights and some weekends. Examples of Duties ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Counting ballots Collating election related items Photocopying Filing Other duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Standard methods of filing Accurate mathematical skills. Attention to detail Typical Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Education and Experience: Background in municipal elections helpful but not required.
