Omega Technical Services is seeking a highly motivated Estimate Lead to support ongoing operations at SRS, Aiken, SC. This position plays a vital role in advancing critical mission objectives within a highly regulated and technically demanding environment.

As a trusted partner to government agencies and national laboratories, Omega Technical Services supports some of the nation's most complex and high-impact programs. Through these strategic collaborations, Omega contributes directly to the strength, security, and sustainability of the U.S. Nuclear Security Enterprise.

Review source data, including engineering documents. Work with Volume III Lead to develop an estimating plan and handbook.
• Identify the scope of work areas that require subcontract support or specially engineered equipment, and collaborate with Supply Chain to establish specifications and obtain pricing.
• Identify the scope of work areas requiring subject matter expertise, and work with the Proposal Manager to identify appropriate SMEs.
• Select appropriate estimate methodologies. Oversee development of detailed estimates. Participate in the review process and ensure comments and feedback are implemented.

• Twenty-five years of experience in engineering, construction, operations, estimating, scheduling, project controls, proposal development, and/or project management.
• Experience developing multi-billion dollar cost estimates.
• Specific experience leading cost estimates for heavy industrial (e.g., chemical processing, oil and gas) and/or nuclear facilities.
• Candidates not meeting the education requirements (four-year degree) may be considered based on additional relevant experience.
