Training Manager / Technical Writer (Part Time) **PROPOSED EFFORT**

Location: On-Site, Washington, DC (supporting a federal client)

Clearance Requirement: U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident eligible for Public Trust clearance.

Salary or hourly pay range: $100/hour

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Training Manager / Technical Writer who's passionate about creating and documenting User training documentation for cloud-based platforms for both internal users and external customers.

What You'll Do



  • Document data architecture, transformation logic, and reporting configurations.
  • Develop training materials and deliver training sessions for analysts, end users, and technical staff when needed.
  • Provide leadership and management for training tasks.
  • Prepare training documents and services that are required to support training requirements drawing input from the researchers, test engineers, systems analysts, training specialists, logisticians, and the government and applying customer training policies.
  • Maintain contact with the customer to insure that the training meets their needs.



What We're Looking For



  • Bachelor's Degree in the field or related area.
  • Minimum 6 years overall experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience developing user training and technical documentation for cloud-based platforms; experience creating training for both internal users and external stakeholders.
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident, eligible for Public Trust clearance.


Important Note: The hiring process includes a government background check, which may take several weeks. A contingent offer will be extended pending successful completion of this clearance, and employment cannot begin until it is granted.
