ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Assist in the daily operation of the Quality Control Department.
- Liaison between the FAA and the airline.
- Maintain the company EPA Potable water program.
- Maintain the OAI company forms list and update manuals as necessary.
- Formulate Manual Revisions for the DQC.
- Maintain MRO qualification/authorization list.
- Maintain OAI's NEF onetime authorization list.
- Assume Mgr of ETOPS duties as required.
AUTHORITIES
The Manager of Quality Control is authorized:
- To accomplish the duties of the Director of Quality Control when delegated which may be executed through e-mail or in written form.
- Signature Authority as designated in GMM Appendix E.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Manager of Quality Control is responsible to:
- Perform ETOPS duties as defined in the ETOPS Policies and Procedures Manual (EPPM).
- Perform duties significant to the Lower Minimums Maintenance Program (LMP) as specified in GMM Chapter 12.
- Review AD applicability and ensure fleet compliance with Airworthiness Directives.
- Monitor POTABLE WATER REPORTS and submit to the EPA.
- Review ADs and ensure engineering has entered ADs properly into TRAX, ensuring the compliance schedule and effectivity are set properly.
- The Manager of Quality Control must hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years experience in maintaining large transport category aircraft maintained under a Continuous Airworthiness Maintenance Program (CAMP) approved by FAR 121, FAR 125 or FAR 135.
- Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
- Have at least 3 years of maintenance experience on different types of large airplanes with ten or more passenger seats with an air carrier or certificated repair station. One year of which must have been as maintenance inspector.
- Have at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory capacity maintaining the same category and class of aircraft as the certificate holder uses.
- Stand - 5%

- Lift - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
