Position Description:

We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic summer intern to join Alcon's Global Security team. This individual will play a key role in advancing our Risk & Intelligence and Physical Security programs, contributing to impactful initiatives that strengthen Alcon's global security posture.

Please note:This isnotan IT/Cyber Security position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Global Security team members and senior staff to gather Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) from online sources in support of intelligence analysis efforts.
• Assist the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) in conducting threat-hunting activities to proactively identify risks to Alcon associates and operations.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of incident and emergency management programs aimed at strengthening organizational preparedness.
• Support regional security directors in evaluating and managing global security guard services at manufacturing facilities.
• Help enhance the case and records management system to improve documentation practices and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited university or college for at least one semester prior to internship or co-op, and at least one additional semester following internship or co-op.
• Must be pursuing at least a bachelor's level degree in Emergency Management, Security Management, Criminal Justice or related major.
• Academic performance: Minimum cumulative GPA 2.8/4.0
• Demonstrated leadership skills (i.e. extracurricular activities or projects)
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship (students on an F1 visa with CPT can be accommodated)
• Ability to commit to a full time (40 hrs. per week) Intern position.
