Job Title: 1st Class Baster/Painter (R/O)

Location: Fourchon, LA

Job Overview: The 1st Class Baster/Painteris responsible for the preparation of metal surfaces for painting and will also paint components, equipment, interiors, and exteriors of vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret paint specifications and manufacturer application instructions.
• Well versed in spraying conventional, airless, or hand paint systems.

Qualifications:

• Two (2) year of marine blasting and painting.

Skills and Abilities:

• Can apply zinc, epoxy, enamel, or other types of surface coatings.
• Familiar with Steel Structural Painting Chemical (SSPC) preparation.
• Can troubleshoot blasting and painting equipment and read wet or dry gauges.
