Purpose of the Role

The Field Survey Data Analyst plays a critical role in supporting Worley's vision of delivering sustainable change by ensuring accurate, reliable, and actionable data insights from field operations. This role is focused on collecting, analyzing, and interpreting survey data to guide strategic decisions across energy, chemicals, and resources projects. By providing data-driven insights, the Field Survey Data Analyst helps bridge the transition to sustainable energy sources while supporting customers in maintaining the viability and performance of their existing assets.

This position contributes directly to Worley's purpose of delivering a more sustainable world and supports the company's ambition to be recognized globally as a leader in sustainability solutions. The role ensures that data is transformed into meaningful information to optimize projects, reduce environmental impact, and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, process, and analyze field survey data to deliver accurate, high-quality reports and insights that support project planning, engineering, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, project management, and environmental specialists to ensure data integrity and alignment with project objectives.
  • Utilize data visualization and mapping tools to translate complex field survey results into actionable insights for decision-making and resource optimization.
  • Ensure compliance with Worley's sustainability standards and industry regulations when handling, interpreting, and reporting data.
  • Support the transition to sustainable energy projects by providing detailed analysis of environmental, geospatial, and operational data sets.
  • Develop and maintain data collection methodologies, ensuring consistency and accuracy across field survey processes.
  • Identify trends and patterns in survey data to inform strategies for improving project performance, safety, and sustainability outcomes.
  • Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure field data drives innovative and practical solutions that align with Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable change.
  • Actively contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through the application of integrated, data-centric solutions that enhance project delivery and operational excellence.
  • Maintain a focus on safety, quality, and environmental stewardship while conducting and supporting field survey activities.

  • Strong background in data analysis, geospatial analytics, or related disciplines, with a focus on field survey data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in data management and visualization tools, such as GIS, CAD, or advanced analytics software, to deliver clear and actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of energy, chemicals, or resources industries, with an understanding of how field survey data supports asset lifecycle management and sustainable project delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, clean, and analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to provide integrated, data-driven solutions to complex challenges.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present technical findings to diverse audiences in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with sustainable practices, environmental data analysis, or regulatory compliance as they relate to field operations.
