Description

The College Slate Captain (CRM Technology Manager) will be responsible for the overall management of the college's CRM platform, providing support to the departments of Enrollment Management, Advancement, and the Office of the Registrar. As Enrollment Management is the primary stakeholder and primary user, the College Slate Captain will report directly to the Vice President for Enrollment Management and will be a staff member of the Admissions Department.

This is a full-time, exempt position (typically 35 hours per week) with the possibility of a hybrid and/or remotework schedule.The estimated range for compensation for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 annually.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Serve as a "super user" of Slate.
  • Create queries and reports for the admissions and financial aid, advancement, and student success teams.
  • Provide technical Slate support for members of the Enrollment Management, Advancement, and the Registrar's office.
  • Work in concert with communications specialists to ensure messages are delivered to target audiences utilizing appropriate selection criteria from CRM databases. Communications will be distributed via print, e-communications (including emails, social platforms) and other current/acceptable contact methodologies.
  • Stay current on all Slate advancements and updates and attend Technolutions Slate, Ellucian Colleague (or other CRM) professional development conferences.
  • Partner with the Office of Information Technology to ensure compliance and that College systems, including Ellucian Colleague, are compatible in the sharing of files and information.
  • Create documentation that can be used by Enrollment Management, Advancement, and the Office of the Registrar to maintain a knowledge base of information.
  • Create links, forms, and other materials that can be used for communications, including on the Washington College website and other associated informational locations.
  • Collaborate with the Office of Marketing & Communications to create Washington College-branded landing pages for special events, and for communications and surveys to a variety of constituents, including families, prospective and current students, parents, faculty and staff, and alumni.
  • Analyze data based on the use of the CRM platform to develop data-driven solutions.


Qualifications

Qualifications/Education:



  • Knowledge of higher education recruitment trends or similar professional experience
  • 2 - 5 years moderate to advanced experience within Technolutions' Slate platform required
  • Experience with Ellucian Colleague and iData systems a plus
  • Understanding of federal and state privacy laws that govern higher education, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Creative and innovative problem-solving skills; attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with diverse audiences, including those from underrepresented populations.
