Take a look at this opportunity with our Information Technology team, which is seeking a passionate individual, to fill the role of our LabWare LIMS Developer V. As the Lead Application Developer, you will be an active member of the IT Development team while leading the LIMS architectural design, development, deployment, maintenance, and integration to support business growth as well as enhance and modify existing systems. You will be a trusted partner, proactively anticipating business needs to be able to support our team, leaders, and the clients we support.

How you will contribute

This role will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to the growth of our organization and develop your professional skills by...

* Designing, coding, and testing client-server and web-based applications across each layer of LIMS including the user interface, forms, business logic, and integration with internal and external systems.

* Effectively working with the Scrum team.

* Providing leadership to the team for assigned projects, applications, and services. Other duties and responsibilities

* Work with end users to validate requirements; capture relevant data and reporting requirements.

* Prototype designs and user requirements using various tools such as Visio and MermaidJS.

* Participate in and conduct team reviews throughout the life cycle of the project.

* Strongly adhere to Prolacta's structured, SDLC (software development life cycle) and validation processes.

* Prepare software development documentation including designs, technical requirements, test scripts, test results, data migration plans, implementation plans and procedures.

* Help manage the application maintenance ticket queue; troubleshoot performance issues and designs effective solutions.

* Demonstrate teamwork by updating project plans, Gantt charts, and deliverables.

* Keep Project Coordinator informed of issues impacting timelines and suggest effective solutions.

* Responsible for architectural design.

* Responsible for resource management and design directions.

* Additional duties as assigned.

What you bring to the role

Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree required in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Systems, or Math.

* 8+ years' experience required developing with LabWare LIMS Basic; LIMS design and configuration.

* 8+ years' experience with SQL Server including stored procedures, triggers and scripts.

* Expert knowledge of LabWare LIMS Basic, LabWare LIMS Visual Workflows, LIMS deployment, LabStation, and LabWare Web Services component.

* Experience in FDA regulated, Biologic or Health Care companies. Qualifications:

* Proficient in web development standards

* Proficient in Agile SDLC

* Proficient in Git * Proficient in PowerShell

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work without supervision

What else do you need to know

Location: Remote with flexibility of returning to the office as needed

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

Travel: Minimal - determined through the needs of the business

FLSA: Exempt

Hiring Range: $135,000 - $145,000
