*Position Overview* We are seeking a skilled and motivated Telecom Cable Technician to join our team, specializing in the installation, termination, and testing of fiber optic and category cables in dynamic venue and event environments. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and take pride in delivering high-performance connectivity solutions for concerts, conferences, sporting events, and large-scale productions.
*Key Responsibilities* * Install, route, and secure Fiber Optic and Category (primarily Cat6a) cables across various venue infrastructures including stadiums, arenas, convention centers, and other event setups. * Terminate fiber optic cables. * Terminate category cables. * Conduct thorough testing and certification of installed cabling using tools. * Interpret blueprints, floor plans, and technical drawings to execute precise cable runs and terminations. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and venue-specific regulations. * Document installation details, test results, and service reports accurately. *Required Skills & Qualifications* * Proven experience in Fiber Optic and Category cable installation and termination. * Proficiency with cable testing equipment. * Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and under time-sensitive conditions. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
