STV is seeking a Senior Rail Systems Engineer for our Rail Systems department at our Dallas, TX office.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support multidisciplinary rail systems engineering efforts including traction power, communications, signals, and SCADA.

  • Develop and review technical specifications, design documents, drawings, and reports for rail transit systems.

  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated system solutions.

  • Perform systems integration, interface management, and system verification and validation activities.

  • Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers and support project delivery and quality assurance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field; PE license preferred.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in rail systems engineering, preferably in a consulting or transit agency setting.

  • Knowledge of transit infrastructure including signaling, traction power, communications, and control systems.

  • Experience with industry standards (IEEE, AREMA, NFPA, etc.) and systems integration processes.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders.

Compensation Range:

$125,724.10 - $167,632.13
