Job Description

Do you love numbers and building processes? Are you curious about how Visa bills its clients for products and services? We are looking for a Go Share candidate to join the Global Data Office Product Operations team as we migrate over 100M annual global revenue to a new, automated billing system.

This is a unique opportunity and calls for an ambitious, hard-working, highly analytical professional. The payoff is that the Go Share candidate will have direct access and exposure to senior leaders and will participate in the analysis, execution, and presentation of key project deliverables.

The Billing Operations Analyst will play a vital role within the Global Data Office, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of billing processes. This position is responsible for analyzing billing data, identifying discrepancies, and implementing solutions to optimize billing operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Billing Analysis: Review and analyze billing data to ensure accuracy and consistency. Identify and resolve billing discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current billing procedures and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Process Migration: Oversee data migration to new automated billing system, configure and validate product and client pricing.
  • Reporting: Generate and distribute billing reports to management and other stakeholders. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance, regional product, customer service, and technical teams to ensure seamless billing operations and address any issues that arise.
  • Compliance: Ensure all billing activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of billing processes, procedures, and any changes implemented.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

* 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

* 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

* Experience: 2 years of experience in billing operations, finance, or accounting.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly learn web-based tools.

* Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.

* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

* Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

* Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to a positive work culture.

* Interest in process development, product management, and/or product operations

* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, pivot quickly, and respond with urgency.

* Strong business analysis/problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and upbeat customer-service attitude

* Detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally

* Self-motivated and be willing to utilize and learn new technology to solve problems

Additional Information

Work Authorization:Permanent Authorization to work in the U.S. is a precondition of employment for this position. Visa will not sponsor applicants for work visas in connection with this position.

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 100,000.00 to 141,250.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
