As an MPG Supply Chain Administrator at Microwave Products Group - Pole/Zero Corporation in West Chester, OH, you will assist the MPG supply chain team by working closely with the Buyers and Suppliers to assure material is available as needed to support production requirements. This includes ensuring processes/procedures are being followed at all times.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Work with the suppliers to satisfy MRP action messages related to purchase orders (expedites, push-outs)
  • Review purchase order confirmations from suppliers for accuracy (part numbers, dates, pricing) and update MRP as required
  • Scanning documentation and attaching to the MRP system
  • Send monthly supplier scorecards
  • Assist in managing TPG (Third Party Guidance) portal
  • Assist in managing VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory
  • Ensures and helps maintain a positive team oriented environment.
  • Maintains a proper 5S environment.
  • Reports daily metrics to supervision and management.
  • Establishes and maintains positive work relationships inside and outside the group.
  • Purchase certain products and services as directed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be detail oriented and capable of identifying minor differences in part numbers or pricing.
  • Must have above average typing skills.
  • Must have basic Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Must be proficient with MRP.
  • Must have excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • General knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
  • Must have ability to work independently and with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Must be able to do basic arithmetic calculations (addition, subtraction, fractions, multiplication, and division).
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities a must.

Requirements Include:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must be a US person (US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)
  • Purchasing and/or inventory experience within an MRP system.
  • Ability to type at least 40 wpm with minimal errors.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in the Microsoft Office products required.

Work Arrangement : Onsite

Pay Range: - per hour

Bonus Eligible: This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
