Job Description:

Full Stack Web Application Developer

Provide programming, website, and software development support on the RSES contract at NASA Langley Research Center. Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of the On-Line for the Assessment of Radiation in Space (OLTARIS) website,which provides access to NASA's space radiation transport and analysis tools; development and maintenance of a form-based website for a NASA organization that tracks work products as they progress through the organization's review process.

Full-stack development experience. Familiarity/experience with Ruby on Rails and web development, or the ability/willingness to pick it up based on experience with other web programming frameworks.

The ideal candidate will possess capabilities and expertise across a range of software languages, for example Java, JavaScript, HTML, Ruby, C/C++, Fortran, and Python and familiarity with Linux, Windows, and Mac OS operating systems. Software systems that are relevant to these requirements include Subversion, MySQL, Java Swing, and Ruby on Rails.

Education: B.S. Computer Science OR commensurate experience in full-stack development environments of at least 5 years.

This would be a part-time casual 20 hours per week position.

Onsite at Langley, VA with the option to be hybrid.

Salary range: $80k-$120k+
