Current Need
The Supply Chain Management Inventory Sales Support team is looking for a solutions-focused Inventory Sales Support Analyst to act as the main contact between sales and inventory operations. This role will support a group of Lab Market customers, ensuring smooth service for Sales Management and Reps, while also helping drive key initiatives for the Med-Surg business.

Position Description

Lab Specialty Services is a hybrid role within Supply Chain Management that combines sales facing and inventory analytics for the Ambulatory Care, Lab, Government, and Health Systems/Corp Accounts Market. This position will be responsible for managing the Sequester Program as well as on-boarding new business for complex issues such as: Stockpile, 3PL, unique Pre-Pay deals, and non-Lab requests. Analyst will work in conjunction with the account manager to present and sell "why" the Sequester Program is a value add to the customer and their practice.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage customer-specific inventory planning, assist with urgent account-level demand trends, execute on-demand purchasing, facilitate new business on-boarding for lab sequestered products across all markets.
  • Manage and approve unique item setups, ensure contracts are adhered to and documented appropriately, and facilitate customer bill outs to minimize excess inventory for all markets.
  • Create, maintain and present processes for the Sequester program to customers on behalf of sales, which can lead to winning new business or retain business.
  • Create and support strategic inventory improvement plans to prepare for pandemic and seasonal spikes, high profile account initiatives, while considering financial and logistical constraints.
  • Works directly with customers to obtain appropriate usage and suggest replenishment inventory as needed.
  • Communicates market shortages, allocation strategy, and inventory processes to Materials Mgmt. Leadership, Primary Care Sales Leadership, and customers as needed.
  • Serve as key point of contact and SME for cross functional discussions between Sales Teams, Materials Mgmt., PSSP, Sales Admin, Legal, Operations, and Manufacturer for intersections that are required for various projects and initiatives.
  • Partner with PSSP on strategic initiatives related to specific lab growth opportunities.
  • Lead varied projects or tasks related to operational changes, process changes, and customer experience enhancements.

Minimum Requirements
5+ years Supply Chain/Inventory experience

Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel

Project Management experience preferred

Additional Knowledge & Skills
Healthcare distribution experience preferred

Experience working with Sales Leadership and leading calls preferred

Solid knowledge of inventory policies, practices and systems

Experience with forecasting and demand planning concepts preferred

SQL experience preferred

Education
4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$71,300 - $118,800
