Executive Director, Transportation Services CLS TS Transportation Svcs Full Time 86130BR Job Summary The Department of Transportation Services at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) provides essential transit, parking, and commuter services that impact nearly every member of the UCSF community, including faculty, staff, trainees, students, patients, and visitors. The Department's decisions and service offerings also impact the local communities surrounding UCSF's many campuses and facilities. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $129,600 - $303,800 (Annual Rate). The transit unit transports approximately 2.5 million passengers a year on 80+ buses over 18+ routes through a dense metropolitan area and across hilly terrain. The parking unit operates more than 8,000 parking spaces in garages and surface lots across the UCSF enterprise, including valet parking for patients visiting multiple hospitals and clinics. Additional parking capacity is planned in tandem with the university's growth. The Department takes seriously its responsibility to operate sustainably. To that end, as of 2019 a third of the department's bus fleet is electric, E/V charging stations are available in most parking facilities, and 74% of employees commute to campus using sustainable forms of transportation, predominately public transit, park and ride options, and Uber shuttle buses.
