We are currently seeking an exceptional professional to join us as Tax Manager.

About You:

The Tax Manager will be responsible for the quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provision consolidation and reporting process.In addition, the Tax Manager will be responsible for the supporting the preparation of the Company's US Federal income tax return and working with external advisors to prepare the Company's US state and local tax returns. Within the tax provision and tax compliance roles, the Tax Manager will work on special projects with other members of the Company's Finance organization to build efficiencies within the Company's tax processes and to identify and implement tax saving strategies. The Tax Manager is responsible for effectively managing the company's tax risks and liabilities associated with various business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings. The Tax Manager is responsible for the internal controls of recording and tracking income, property taxes and other tax information.

The Tax Manager may be responsible for one or any combination of the functional areas, as assigned.

Key Activities

  • The Tax Manager is responsible for effectively managing the company's tax risks and liabilities associated with various business transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, and public offerings.

  • The Tax Manager is responsible for the internal controls of recording and tracking income, property taxes and other tax information.

  • The Tax Manager may be responsible for one or any combination of the functional areas, as assigned.

  • Prepare the quarterly and annual consolidation of the worldwide income tax provision to include US and foreign calculation based on US GAAP rules, including the tax balance sheet and tax expense accounts.
  • Prepare effective tax rate analysis and analytical tools for quarterly and annual financial statement processes.

  • Prepare consolidated monthly, quarterly and year-to-date tax balance sheet reconciliations and manage the monthly tax account reconciliation process.

  • Prepare interim tax rate forecast and analysis.

  • Support Financial Planning & Analysis group for forecasting pre-tax book income by legal entity.

  • Prepare quarterly and annual tax disclosure.

  • Manage the state income tax audit function including interacting with state and local auditors to minimize / eliminate all audit assessments.

  • Responsible for meeting all state income tax reporting obligations.

  • Work with other members of the Tax Department to prepare the US Federal and state tax returns and foreign tax returns, including information returns and disclosures related to foreign operations.

  • Assist with the management of the tax compliance software.

  • Assist with the automation of the monthly tax provision calculations.

  • Assist with the quantification of financial statement impact of internal restructuring and integration projects.

  • Proactively manage correspondence with US Federal and state tax authorities.

  • Develop, implement, test, and report on all federal, state and local income tax compliance.

  • Establish and maintain Incora tax systems and controls, which verify the integrity of all systems, processes and data contributing directly to the Company's financial objectives and goals as related to tax assessment.

  • Report and respond to Vice president, Tax as assigned, with accurate and timely work to facilitate any financial project or data requests, which may include preparation and/or indirect preparation of tax-related reports and information, on a frequent basis as requested by operations and management.

  • Coordinate, prepare, and analyze the company's federal and state tax reserves.

  • Coordinate, prepare, and review federal and state income returns.

  • Prepare quarter-end and year-end domestic income tax provision and assist with international provision.

  • Travel with in the U.S.

  • Other duties as assigned.

About You:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, CPA preferred.

  • 5 to 10 years of accounting experience with a minimum of 5 years in public accounting, and a minimum of 3 years tax management experience in the private sector is preferred.

  • Proven ability in the areas of Financial Analysis, Auditing, Sarbanes-Oxley and SEC filings

  • Previous multi-state responsibility and reporting requirements, with 1 to 2 years' aerospace industry experience preferred.

  • Ability to prepare and analyze tax for a geographically disperse organization.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop models and other tools of analysis for financial management reporting

  • Competency with large integrated accounting systems and Microsoft Suite software, including Excel and Access.
