Purpose

Texas Executive Education is recruiting for an Assistant Director who will lead the daily administrative and programmatic operations of the Health Informatics and Health Information Technology (HIHIT) non-degree certificate program.

Responsibilities
  • Direct the day-to-day HIHIT Program (Live, Synchronous), including managing the activities of team members and coordination with Executive Education and other operational McCombs' teams.
  • Manage application and enrollment activities for programs to drive enrollment growth, including direct communication with students and alumni and ensuring a seamless experience prior to the student's start in their program.
  • Develop HIHIT Professional Development for the Live, Synchronous program curriculum and deliver to students
  • Coordinate all operational and student related activities with collaborating program vendor representatives to ensure a high-quality student experience. Manage student support activities and resolve problems, coordinating with relevant McCombs and UT departments to ensure quick resolution
  • Alumni and Employer Relationship Management: Lead and strategically cultivate employer relationships, including inviting employers to career connection activities, encouraging them to expand engagement in the HIHIT program, and identifying opportunities to for McCombs to add more value to their engagement efforts. Manage all HIHIT alumni engagement, including the alumni mentoring program, events, speaking engagements and all communications. Manage alumni engagement to encourage further participation in career connection activities, mentoring, and hiring, including managing the HIHIT LinkedIn page and sending correspondence, as appropriate.
  • Coordinate with program instructors to ensure all content and assessments are prepared and delivered effectively to drive student learning. Oversee program evaluations to monitor course/program quality and outcomes, ensuring that appropriate data is being captured and available for analysis, analyzing components of the data relevant to program decisions and management, presenting key data analysis to the TEE leadership and relevant teams, and driving continuous improvement and enhancement cycles.
  • Partner with marketing team (CMCO's office, and agencies) on the development and implementation of communication and marketing plans to support lead generation and to achieve enrollment goals. Manage internal communication and information to ensure every team member can execute their role with maximum optimization. Provide relevant program information and expertise to support marketing and business development efforts, student support, and IT planning and support.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (health informatics, public health, business, education, or a related field)

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in program management, higher education administration, healthcare, or executive/professional education

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, including cross-functional teams and stakeholders

  • Experience with student or client support services, operations, or enrollment management

  • Experience analyzing data and using it for continuous improvement or program evaluation

  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication

  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines and priorities

  • Proficiency with standard office software

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree (e.g., M.Ed., MBA, MPH, MHI, or a related field.
  • Experience in health informatics, health information technology, or healthcare workforce development
  • Experience working in or with university executive education programs
  • Experience working with marketing or communications teams for program promotion
  • Familiarity with non-credit or certificate-based programs, especially live, synchronous delivery
  • Experience with alumni or employer engagement, such as managing events, mentoring programs, or relationship development
  • Experience with data analysis tools
  • Understanding of educational technology and remote learning environments
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience
  • High attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Ability to represent the program externally and build partnerships
Salary Range
  • $70,000 + depending on qualifications
Working Conditions
  • Works in standard office conditions, in a shared office environment with repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
  • Some evening and weekend hours may be required during peak periods and special events.
