The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for an experienced and passionate Operations Manager to optimize our Performance Materials team in the salts business that is delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives. This role will be a full-time position based out of our Phillipsburg, NJ facility. You will have the opportunity to lead daily operations while ensuring safe, efficient, and high quality production. You will also oversee supervisors and production teams, maintain compliance with cGMP, OSHA, Quality and regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement efforts. How You Will Make an Impact:
Environmental Working Conditions & Physical Effort: Work is primarily conducted in a chemical manufacturing environment, requiring compliance with safety protocols. Exposure to chemical processes, machinery, and production equipment. Requires occasional lifting, standing, and walking within production areas. Must adhere to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements as dictated by OSHA and company policies. Pay Transparency: The expected pre-tax pay for this position is $102,200.00 - $170,300.00Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
