*Patient Services Associate* Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Remote (U.S. Based) Experience Level: Intermediate *About the Role* Are you passionate about helping patients navigate their healthcare journey? We're looking for a *Patient Services Associate* who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering exceptional service. In this remote role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and providers, ensuring accurate and empathetic communication while managing high volumes of inbound and outbound calls. *Key Responsibilities* * Handle *25-50 inbound calls per day* related to patient re-enrollment and insurance reverification. * Make *outbound calls* to providers and payers to verify benefits and collect missing intake information. * Document coverage details in a *Summary of Benefits*, shared with patients and providers as needed. * Maintain accurate and timely *case notes* in the Lynk system. * Engage in a *balanced mix of patient and provider interactions*. *Required Skills & Qualifications* * *Customer Service Excellence* - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * *Health Insurance Knowledge* - Familiarity with insurance verification and medical claims. * *Call Center Experience* - Proven ability to manage high call volumes. * *Medical Terminology* - Basic understanding required. * *Technical Proficiency* - Comfortable using Microsoft Office; Excel is a plus. * *Attention to Detail* - High accuracy in documentation and data entry. * *Adaptability* - Ability to stay consistent and professional in a dynamic environment. * *Patient-Centric Mindset* - Empathetic and kind communication style. *Preferred Experience* * Prior experience in *medical patient services* or healthcare-related customer support. * Experience working in *high-volume environments* with multiple priorities. *Why Join Us?* * Be part of a team that values *empathy, accuracy, and professionalism*. * Work remotely with a supportive environment that encourages *growth and adaptability*. * Make a meaningful impact on patients' healthcare experiences. *Apply now* and help us deliver compassionate and efficient service to those who need it most. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
