Materials and Distribution Analyst needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite in Milpitas, CA
SOC is currently seeking a talented and driven Materials & Distribution Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our supply chain organization, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the flow of materials and products throughout our global distribution network. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has strong communication skills to ensure the timely delivery and availability of our products to our customers. Responsibilities: Accountable for development, planning, execution, and management of various activities related to materials and inventory control for materials, parts, supplies, and equipment. Examples include logistics coordination, shipping/receiving, distribution, storage of materials and cycle counting programs. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, at the non-exempt level, inspection; order fulfilment; shipping; kitting; movement of materials; ensuring physical inventory and maintaining designated inventory records using various material tracking systems; and scheduling work for designated areas of operations, compiling data for reports; and statistical analysis. Intermediate: Ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on problems/projects of moderately complex scope. Exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action. Acts as an informed team member providing analysis of information and limited project direction input. Follows established guidelines and interprets policies. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations. Qualifications:
