Department: IT Application and Development
Reports To: Senior Software Engineer / Application Development Asst. Director


As a Software Engineer I, you'll:



  • Assist in the development and maintenance of custom applications and system integrations.





  • Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers.





  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.





  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.





  • Perform unit testing and assist in system and user acceptance testing.





  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.





  • Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and development best practices.





  • Support deployment and post-implementation activities.



What You Will Bring



  • Proven experience as a full stack application developer (SQL, Appian, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, .NET, etc.)





  • Strong background in application lifecycle management and support services





  • Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and back-end technologies





  • Ability to manage version control, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, etc.)



Bonus Points For:



  • Experience with OnBase by Hyland (configuration, workflow automation, document management)





  • Familiarity with enterprise content management and business process automation





Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare, Business Management or relevant degree. Equivalent work experience may be substituted on a 2:1 basis.



Work Experience: 3-4 years of related work experience with computer systems and applications



Salary Range: Minimum 33.41/hour - Maximum 58.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
