Manufacturing Quality Engineer - Drive Supplier Excellence and Production Innovation

What You'll Do



  • Lead supplier process improvements to drive Supplier Quality Reject (QR) performance.
  • Participate in Whiteboard reviews and subsystem Variability Reduction Team (VRT) meetings.
  • Drive resolution of warranty concerns tied to supplier processes (-1MIS and 0MIS).
  • Support QR procedures by assisting with concern binning, threshold review, and dispute resolution.
  • Partner with the Incoming Quality team to address non-responsive suppliers.
  • Ensure QR/PPM (Parts Per Million) data accuracy for suppliers and plants.
  • Coordinate part quality confirmations for suppliers with repetitive containment failures.
  • Lead containment actions for special-cause supplier process issues and BSAQ projects.
  • Monitor production reports and alert leadership to potential supplier-related issues.
  • Serve as Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) representative, supporting plant management in daily quality meetings and supplier quality reviews.

What You'll Bring



  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 2+ years of plant manufacturing experience
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems, PPAP processes, APQP, and problem-solving methods
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across suppliers, plant management, and quality assurance teams
