The Sales Reporting Analyst - Fleet Sales Operations is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing reporting tools that support national and regional fleet sales efforts. This role will play a critical part in turning raw sales and operational data into clear, actionable insights used by sales leadership, field teams, and business development teams. The ideal candidate has strong technical and analytical skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings a solutions-oriented mindset to reporting and performance analysis. This role reports to the Sales Reporting Manager and contributes to the broader goal of driving data-informed decision-making across the commercial sales organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain recurring sales reports, dashboards, and KPI trackers to support sales performance management across all fleet regions.
- Utilize Salesforce, TipNet, CarBook Pro, MMR, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) tools to gather and organize data.
- Conduct detailed analysis of order trends, incentive effectiveness, pipeline health, and dealer performance.
- Support the Sales Reporting Manager with ad-hoc reporting requests, forecasting tools, and executive briefing materials.
- Assist in monitoring VIP contract execution and reporting on volume, and fulfillment status.
- Ensure data integrity across all reporting platforms and recommend enhancements to improve clarity and usability.
- Partner with sales operations, incentives, finance, IT, marketing and dealer development teams to ensure alignment on business objectives.
- Contribute to the development of reporting automation and visualization using Salesforce, Power BI, Excel dashboards, or similar tools.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales reporting, data analysis, or sales operations-preferably in an automotive, fleet, or commercial vehicle environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce, TipNet, CarBook Pro, MMR, or TCO tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to synthesize large data sets into actionable insights.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Auburn Hills, MI and travel occasionally for team meetings or events.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting commercial sales, automotive dealers, or fleet organizations.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Salesforce, or similar).
- Prior experience working with pipeline reporting, incentive tracking, and sales performance dashboards.
