About the role

The Regional HR Business Partner is responsible for the compliance and execution of HR policies and procedures, on-boarding and training, and employee relations for an assigned region of business. Candidates must reside in Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama or Florida to be considered.

What you'll be doing



  • Support RVP, Area Management and Community Management within assigned region on all personnel related matters.
  • Conducts HR training for all new Community and Facilities Managers to include Employee Lifecycle Guide, EEO, New Hire Paperwork, Employee Handbook and HR Policies and Procedures.
  • Ensure training and policy compliance
  • Provide support for all employee counseling's and terminations within assigned region.
  • Conduct exit interviews for all voluntary resignations.
  • Develop and implement investigation plan for all Ethics Helpline calls and coordinate execution with RVP and submit report and recommendations to Corporate HR and Compliance Officer.
  • Develop investigation plan for all EEOC charges
  • Ensures managers are completing paperwork that is both accurately and timely
  • Direct point of contact for all employee matters within assigned region.
  • Work with Benefits team to keep informed on all incidents regarding workers compensation including post-accident drug screens, return to work, and light duty.
  • Assist the region on all exempt level recruiting screening and identifying qualified candidates for hiring managers.
  • Audits locations annually for compliance with employee files, applicant tracking, employment posters, records and retention management.
  • Create best practices for region and collaborate and share best practices with peers in other regions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Who we're looking for



  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business or related field, plus at least 7 years experience in Human Resources Management in multi-state, multi-location portfolio of business with responsibilities for exempt, non-exempt and hourly demographics.
  • Demonstrated results in employee recruitment and selection for exempt and non-exempt work force.
  • PHR/SPHR recommended.
  • Labor relations experience is recommended
  • Demonstrated experience and job knowledge in all federal and state employment laws
  • Proficiency in MS Office products.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
  • Bilingual candidate is preferred, but not required
  • Valid driver's license and safe driving record.
