What you'll do:

As an Operations Manager you'll be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow, efficiency, and adherence to applicable policies and procedures. Operations team consists of Relationship Bankers who are the main points of contact for homeowner associations and community management business customers or the teams that make the banker successful. You'll oversee the bankers or teams and handle tasks such as setting goals and objectives, liaising with clients, ensuring transactions are done timely, correctly, and resolving issues. You'll prepare status reports, handle calls and correspondence, and process documentation. One of your key responsibilities will be to support Operations and Sales to build and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders and grow relationships by providing excellent customer service in support of business profitability and deposit goals.
  • Responsible for supporting the Operations Director providing a comprehensive prompt and efficient customer service experience. Ensures that the daily operations run smoothly and efficiently. Provides leadership, training, and guidance to operations staff and supports the completion of daily operational tasks.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all bank products and services provided to clients. Collaborate with Sales team to build trust and enhance the customer relationship by identifying, recommending, and delivering bank treasury management products, service opportunities in support of customer and business line profitability and bank deposit goals.
  • Provides direct oversight in mitigating risk, verifying audit compliance, and procedural quality control through operations review. Ensures compliance with established Bank policies, procedures and state and federal regulations.
  • Oversee the Operations Team in resolving more complex customer and employee questions, assists in ensuring efficient daily work flow, reviewing work for accuracy and completeness, and approving transactions within given authority levels.
  • Lead and develop a team; responsible for hiring, coaching, performance management, training and development.

What you'll need:

  • 3+ years of related experience in Treasury Management Services, Branch Banking Operations or similar field.
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
  • Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
  • Occasional travel required.
