Senior Manager, Marketing Design, Global

Marketing Department

The marketing team is responsible for Vantage's brand, identity and positioning in the global marketplace. The department further leads public and analyst relations to ensure constituents are educated on Vantage's products, services and markets. The team partners with sales, new site development, construction, finance, people and culture, public policy, internal communications and other departments to grow market share, acquire and retain customers, expand into new geographies, understand customer sentiment and promote the company as an employer of choice.

Position Overview

As a Graphic Designer, this role will be responsible for the visual representation of Vantage's brand and standards, ensuring high-quality and impactful design across various mediums (print and digital). The Graphic Designer will oversee Vantage's creative agencies, in addition to leading projects from concept through execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams and guiding the design direction for marketing materials, campaigns, digital assets, etc.

To be successful in this role, the candidate will be capable of completing design, but more importantly, you'll be a creative thinker, not defaulting to the status quo.

The individual will report directly to the Senior Director, Marketing, Global and will collaborate with various participants and teams within the company to support department, regional and global goals.

Essential Job Functions

• Lead and supervise the creative process, from brainstorming and conceptualization to final execution, consistent with established brand standards.

• Run third-party agencies to deliver creative across multiple channels.

• Develop high-quality visual designs for digital, print, social media, email campaigns, PPT and other marketing materials. This role is both a leader of external agencies, as well as a hands-on designer.

• Handle and collaborate with external agencies on all design-related initiatives, from print to digital.

• Design (in-house) materials for numerous participants, from sales to internal communications and various departmental requests. Requests include video production, posters, presentations, brochures, slicks, social assets, etc.

• Maintain consistency across all design touchpoints.

• Manage all design files, image libraries, standards, etc.

• Handle additional duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design or equivalent experience required with a strong portfolio showcasing expertise across digital and print media.

• 5-7 years of hands-on design experience, ideally working in both agency and in-house environments.

• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory and visual composition.

• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint.

• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.

• Experience working in a matrixed global organization.

• Exhibit executive presence and confidence to regularly interact with leaders across the organization.

• Travel required is expected to be 5 to 10% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Additional Details

• Salary Range: $145,000-155,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)

• This position is eligible for company benefits including but not limited to medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and AD&D, short and long-term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program that includes company match, and many other additional voluntary benefits.

• Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including your qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
