As a Cleared DOD Armed Security Officer - Patrol Aero/Defense in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

Pay Rate: $25.15 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using de-escalation techniques as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or potential threats.
• Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and report any suspicious activity.
• Interact professionally with employees, contractors, and visitors at the location, maintaining a visible presence.
• Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal protocols.
• Provide emergency response support as needed, following established procedures and coordinating with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel.
• Remain alert to potential security-related risks specific to an aerospace and defense environment and respond according to training and site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance required.
• Level III Armed Certification required for Texas roles.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required for positions subject to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
