Department:ICE \| CVSL Administration IP NC Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:The Clinical Service Managers (CSM) are responsible for supervising and coordinating daily operations of the designated clinic/unit, including patient care and clinic/unit business processes. The clinics include the Cardiology Clinic, Valve Clinic, Cardiac Surgery Clinic, Device Clinic, and Outpatient Heart Station. The CSM assists service line leadership in the development and implementation of strategic policies and procedures. Serves as a clinical expert and a team leader for all clinical staff in the ambulatory setting. This role employs an integrated approach to patient outcomes and provides direction and guidance to others regarding best practices. Serves as a resource, preceptor, and mentor. Demonstrates leadership skills in decision-making and problem-solving. Provides safe, therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way. Incorporates differences into the provision of care. Integrates knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families. Incorporates data and information to improve care and enhance outcomes. Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Valid License as a Registered Nurse by the State of Arkansas Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with a Bachelor's in Nursing requiredwith at least5 yearsof experience in nursingand at least 3 of those years ina supervisory capacity. Current BLS certification or must successfully obtain certification within the first 30 days of employment Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in nursing or healthcare National Certification Additional Information: Responsibilities: Provides oversight that ensures processes for hiring, onboarding, training, developing, and evaluating providers and staff members within the service line to ensure a highly competent workforce. Engages all staff in learning the importance of clinical research, which leads to better patient outcomes. Engages all staff to participate in clinical research activities pertinent to their job duties. Ensures all patient-family centered care principles are fully acclimated throughout the clinical setting, including service recovery processes to address complaints and incidents for patients, families, and visitors. Enhances operational effectiveness with improvement projects for the service line, using solid data and analytics that directly impact key metrics related to people, service, growth, margin, and quality. Accountable to outcomes that will include measurable targets for patient quality, satisfaction, clinical metrics, employee satisfaction, workforce indicators (turnover, vacancy, advancement), etc. Plans operational and capital expense budgets. Reviews the fiscal performance of all cost centers, satellite offices, diagnostic services and other ancillary services. Takes an active role with value analysis and as appropriate services on teams that reduce cost without sacrificing care Performs other duties as assigned.
