What to Expect
The Abuse Test Systems Engineering (ATSE) team is responsible for identifying, designing, building, and commissioning scalable test solutions to accelerate product development cycles by leveraging Tesla's technology to reduce cost and complexity. ATSE is a rare team at Tesla that supports validation of both vehicle, energy and robotics programs across engineering and manufacturing. You will have the opportunity to contribute to all aspects of Tesla's business and really feel the impact of Tesla's mission of accelerating the world's transition to sustainable energy. As an Equipment Electrical Engineer on ATSE, you will own the electrical design and implementation of engineered abuse test solutions that integrate with systems from all sides of Tesla's product arsenal (Energy, Vehicle & Robotics). The candidate should demonstrate a history of innovation, technical prowess, project management skills, a strong work ethic, and an ability to work cross functionally. Designs will apply skillsets in electromechanics, design for manufacturability/assembly, reliability, and functionality. At the same time, system-level understanding is paramount to defining a successful test solution. You will work together with internal customers to iterate, test, and learn as well as coordinate rapid product development cycles with external vendors. What You'll Do

Expected Compensation
$80,000 - $174,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
