Position Highlights
The Adjunct Instructor will teach an introductory aerospace engineering course for the Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering department. This course covers an introduction to airplanes and space vehicles as aerospace systems; fundamentals that describe these systems; elements of aerodynamics, airfoils and wings; airplane performance, stability, and control; aircraft and rocket propulsion; fundamentals of orbital motion; and aspects of vehicle conceptual design.

Duties & Responsibilities
Develop and deliver lectures.
Develop, grade, and provide feedback on formative and summative assessments.
Provide student support via email and in-person, i.e. during office hours.
Additional tasks as need for effective course delivery and assessment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of all topics covered in introductory aerospace engineering.
Minimum Qualifications
Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience teaching or mentoring undergraduate-level engineering students.
