Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Paint Coating Operator to join our manufacturing team in Oldsmar, FL. This position is responsible for operating a variety of coating and dispensing machines used in the application of conformal coatings and potting materials on circuit boards and electronic assemblies. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, steady hands, and a commitment to producing high-quality work that meets customer specifications. Schedule Shift: Monday-Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (EST) Location: Oldsmar, Florida Job Responsibilities Operate various dispensing and coating machines to apply conformal coatings or potting compounds according to customer and production specifications Mask or tape areas of circuit boards that must remain free of coating or potting materials Inspect completed assemblies to verify coating coverage and ensure product quality Perform manual touch-up work on areas missed by automated coating machines to maintain consistency and high standards Remove excess coating materials as necessary Transport racks of circuit boards and other assemblies between production areas as part of the manufacturing process Maintain coating and dispensing equipment, including refilling fluids, changing mixers, and cleaning machines for optimal performance Replenish chemicals, solvents, and compounds as needed, following proper handling and safety procedures Apply potting, bonding, and coating compounds, lubricants, or insulating tape to various components and assemblies Assist with encapsulation of discrete assemblies and other finishing processes Retrieve and advance materials, tools, and supplies within the facility or from local suppliers as required Complete required Specific Function Training courses and adhere to all manufacturing and safety protocols Perform general housekeeping and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times Support production as needed with additional tasks assigned by the supervisor Job Requirements Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precise, repetitive tasks with consistency Familiarity with coating, potting, or dispensing processes preferred Ability to read and follow written instructions, specifications, and safety procedures Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and materials Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights throughout the shift Willingness to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced production environment Must demonstrate reliability, accuracy, and a commitment to quality work Education High school diploma or equivalent required Work Experience Prior experience in manufacturing, production, or electronics assembly preferred Experience with coating, dispensing, or chemical handling processes a plus Additional Job Details Full-time, on-site position (no remote work) Must comply with all safety and chemical handling procedures Personal protective equipment (PPE) required during operation and cleaning processes
