Digital Copywriter

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented, creative, and motivated Digital Copywriter with a strong focus on denim apparel to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of fashion trends, a keen eye for copy, and the ability to craft compelling messaging for key Wrangler e-commerce marketing campaigns executed across site, email, social, text, search, and more.

They will possess strong leadership abilities and a passion for creating impactful words that elevate campaigns to the next level. This role will collaborate closely with Wrangler art directors, graphic designers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute creative writing that aligns with the brand's overall vision.

Reporting to the Global Brand Creative Director and actively partnering with the E-Commerce Director and Integrated Marketing Team, the Digital Copywriter will generate interest, consideration, and conversion through compelling, motivating copy - from large seasonal campaigns to product descriptions and everything in between.

Responsibilities

  • Steward and implement the brand tone of voice in line with brand creative and strategic vision to deliver on messaging goals in digital realm
  • Generate copy for digital marketing channels including email, SMS, paid search and paid social campaigns as well as E-commerce site placements.
  • Serve as stakeholder in SEO-driven copy including product names & descriptions as well as best practices for content and categories
  • Iterate and optimize copy to improve the performance of copy in relevant marketing touchpoints, Including A/B testing of copy in various placements
  • Extend and maintain brand copy standards and content style guides
  • Partner cross-functionally to understand goals, develop solutions, and execute projects efficiently and effectively. Mediate deadlines and feedback as applicable.
  • Constantly consuming media & content from other brands, personalities and outlets, to ensure you are on the pulse of all relevant trends in fashion, culture, digital, consumerism etc.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience writing and editing marketing copy for a major brand/product/service or an agency or similar environment
  • 5+ years experience in content creation across digital (video, web, email, search, social) touchpoints
  • 3+ years SEO copy creation and optimization
  • Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in English, Journalism, Creative Writing, Advertising, or Marketing
  • Creative work portfolio must be submitted. Portfolio should demonstrate problem solving and solutions generated.
