About the Role:
We're looking for a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer with a problem-solving mindset and strong fundamentals in mechanical systems.
This role focuses on designing custom equipment from concept to production using SolidWorks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring manufacturability and cost-efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Design mechanical systems using SolidWorks 2022 (3D models, 2D drawings, assemblies).
Perform engineering calculations (torque, gearing, GD&T, drive trains).
Collaborate with sales, ops, and PMs during project planning and execution.
Source components and support manufacturing and integration.
Troubleshoot and continuously improve design standards and workflows.

Qualifications:
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
3-5 years in custom machine design.
SolidWorks proficiency; SolidWorks PDM is a plus.
Strong mechanical fundamentals and hands-on problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with shop and office teams.

Preferred:
Shop floor or machinery experience.
Industry exposure in aerospace, automation, or entertainment.
Familiarity with conveyors, lifts, or mechanical integration.
