Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position |
The primary purpose of this role is to operate & support the School of Nursing's mobile outreach services. This position is responsible for safely operating and maintaining the mobile unit, transporting it to scheduled locations, and providing on-site logistical and administrative support. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and has strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth program delivery.
Work Hours:
10-20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling based on events (includes occasional evenings or weekends) |

The School of Nursing is dedicated to equipping individuals for the nursing profession, ensuring they possess the essential skills & knowledge for quality, safe, patient-centered care. Our comprehensive program offerings include traditional bachelor of science in nursing (
BSN) tracks, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (
ABSN), and RN to
BSN pathways. We are proud to offer a new Doctor of Nursing program, further expanding our educational horizons. Students in all programs benefit from academic excellence fostered in small, flexible classes guided by supportive faculty. |
Minimum Requirements |
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional vocational or administrative training
2. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and experience driving large vehicles (e.g., vans, box trucks, RVs, or mobile units)
3. Previous experience in transportation, facilities support, or administrative assistance.
4. Ability to lift 25-50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in varied weather conditions.
5. Basic computer literacy (email, data entry, spreadsheet use)
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills; customer service experience is a plus |
Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education |
1. Familiarity with community outreach, education, or healthcare environments.
2.
CDL not required, but willing to obtain
CDL.
3. Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, mobile team.
4. Flexible schedule availability, including occasional evenings or weekends |
