Responsibilities

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education:

  • High School Diploma

Professional Certifications/Licenses:

  • Property/Casualty License Required
  • Maintain Agent/Broker License through continuing education
  • Earn or maintain CISR Designation

Qualifications

Experience/Skills:

  • 5 years Insurance Experience Required
  • Working knowledge of Agency Management Systems
  • Experience in the Applied Epic system is a plus but not required
  • Ability to use menu-driven software in addition to Microsoft office to include Outlook, Word and Excel programs
  • Knowledge of Acord forms
  • Self-motivated, ability to work independently and within a team
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • An interest in meeting new people and relationship management skills
  • Display trustworthiness, integrity, sincerity and discretion
  • Good customer service skills
  • A results-driven approach to meet core responsibilities and deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accurate record keeping
  • The ability to develop and deliver innovative ideas
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
  • Maintain proficient knowledge of, and demonstrate ongoing compliance with all laws and regulations applicable to this position, ensure ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and internal controls, and meet all training requirements in a timely manner
  • All applicants must be 18 years of age or older
