Qualifications

VNE, LLC is looking for a PT Cleared Project Financial Analyst III

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:




  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BSBA or BBA), Economics, Finance, Commerce, Business Information Systems, or business related field


Experience:




  • At least seven (7) years of experience providing financial management support to a program/project and/or corporate operations department.
  • Individual shall have experience examining budget estimates or proposals for completeness, accuracy, and conformance.
  • Individual shall have experience coordinating financial activities across various stakeholders; managing finances across multiple funding types/sources; tracking budgets, costs, and variances; and conducting financial reporting and analyses on financial issues and customer/stakeholder requirements.
  • Individual shall be proficient in research methods, statistical analysis, and the use of financial/analytical software (spreadsheets and/or databases);
  • Individual shall have experience working as part of a team in the delivery of product or service.
  • Secret level clearance (minimum) is required.


Job Description:

A Project Financial Analyst Level III shall:



  • Support Business Operations and Program Managers generate and deliver contractual and financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain programmatic documentation, e.g., weekly, monthly, and quarterly customer facing reports such as Task Order Status Reports (TOSR), Monthly Status Reports (MSR), After Action Reports (AAR), Staffing Plan Reports, and other contractual deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain financial tracking models for multiple projects to track budgets, costs, and variances.
  • Create and work with formulas in Excel to integrate complex data across multiple projects.
  • Create and maintain standardized documents and templates in Excel, Word, and other platforms as required.
  • Develop and propose courses of actions (COAs) and recommendations for financial issues.
  • Produce executive summaries and reports.
  • Perform support tasks to include word processing, spreadsheet development, documentation management, financial analysis, data collection, report processing, brief preparation, and email generation.


Essential Duties of the Job:



  • Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face


Physical Demands and Work Environment:



  • While performing duties of job, employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
