What to Expect
We seek a skilled Global Supply Analyst to develop and execute tactical buying strategies for Finished Vehicle logistics in North America. This role involves qualifying, selecting, and contracting transportation services, with a focus on port drayage and ground trucking. You will negotiate supplier agreements, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure optimal supply chain performance. As part of Tesla's Supply Chain team, you'll collaborate cross-functionally to enhance supply assurance, flexibility, and delivery in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

What You'll Do
  • Manage RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs to secure favorable commercial terms
  • Negotiate contracts, including NDAs, SOWs, and Master Purchase Agreements
  • Drive cost reduction through strategic pricing negotiations and supplier consolidation
  • Develop global commodity strategies aligned with business expansion goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders (Finance, Logistics, Engineering) to align sourcing activities
  • Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and spend data to identify opportunities
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve disputes proactively
  • Create competitive supplier environments to enhance negotiation leverage
  • Execute supplier evaluations and lead value analysis for final selection
  • Maintain expertise in logistics markets, technologies, and industry dynamics

What You'll Bring
  • Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of supply chain experience in vendor/carrier management or logistics
  • Proven success in strategic sourcing, contract negotiations, and cost optimization
  • Knowledge of procurement processes (RFx, SOPs, POs) and logistics services
  • Experience managing Special Logistics Equipment Services projects
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills in fast-paced settings
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to synthesize data into actionable strategies and reports
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and business needs

    Expected Compensation
    $82,800 - $151,920/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
